Privacy

Auren Browser is being designed as a standalone, local-first browser product. The preview does not include telemetry.

Desktop preview

The desktop prototype stores workspace and tab state locally on your machine. It is intended for early testing, not production-critical browsing yet.

Extension data

The companion extension currently stores captured pages and selections locally in Chrome extension storage. Native desktop handoff will be explicit and user-controlled.

Future services

If cloud sync, accounts, or AI APIs are added later, they will be documented here before release with clear controls and opt-in behavior.
